A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is installed in your viable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units. A VFD is a motor controller that varies the frequency and voltage of electricity supplied to an HVAC. When your HVAC is not required to operate at full capacity, a VFD ramps down the amount of electricity that your HVAC consumes, increasing comfort and reducing energy use.
Where necessary, the lights and lighting fixtures in your building are replaced with counterparts that are more energy efficient.
Building Management System
Through a Building Management System (BMS), your building is placed on a schedule that is continuously optimized. Cloud-based algorithms that run your BMS: control your building’s temperature, reduce equipment runtime, flush out cold and warm air from your vents when needed, and pre-heat/cool your building smartly—accounting for occupancy, real-time utility rates & incentives, and outside air temperature.
